Six Pre-Designed Programs in the Compex Mini App:
- Pre-Warmup Program: Low frequency with no contraction of the muscle. Intended to oxygenate muscles before a workout to help prevent cramping.
- Resistance Program: Designed to activate anaerobic metabolism of the muscle; ideal for sports featuring repetition of high intensity movements.
- Endurance Program: Designed to activate aerobic metabolism muscle fibers, helping improve basic muscle endurance and average intensity of muscle effort over time.
- Recovery Program: Produces a muscle twitch at a low frequency, increasing local blood flow and stimulating faster reduction of lactic acid for quicker recovery.
- Muscle Relaxation / Massage: Produces a muscle twitch. Runs at the lowest frequency possible to help relax muscles that are fatigued after a workout or competition.
- Pain Relief / TENS Program: Temporarily alleviate localized pain.
