Build quality is solid, but let’s be honest it’s a piece of metal, tough to mess that up. Functionality is a little rough.. the bar only comes with holes on the sides, not sure why they wouldn’t add holes on the top/bottom as well? Also, if you’re going to add this to the HR2 (70/90) and you have 4 plate storage posts (doesn’t matter which ones), you won’t be able to bolt flush to the upright as the holes are off by about 1/16”, so there will be a space (see pic) which comprises the whole stability thing. Additionally, this bar should absolutely be included with the HR2 itself, why are we asking for another $130 (with shipping) to stabilize the rack? On top of that, if you want black hardware (which I’d imagine most people want), it’s another $5? Rogue has become the Spirit airlines of fitness equipment, can’t wait to see what they charge for next. Lastly, they didn’t even include all the hardware I paid extra for, so I’ll be waiting for that to arrive, but that seems to be a common occurrence with Rogue, can’t say that surprises me unfortunately. Anyway, it’s a solid piece of metal with a lot of room for improvement.

Added a ton of stability to my beat up old HR2. Having the holes cut in has allowed me to 3D print a bunch of attachments to hang my belt, matador, change plates and more. Once I no longer have a weak little baby back I’ll be swapping this for my pull up bar and 3D printing pull up attachments to get wild with it.

You would think they would learn from their previous reviews. When you buy from Rogue, you used to expect a certain level of quality. Missing parts is just poor execution. Companies like Rep and Titan will soon be equivalent to Rogue. Rogue is no longer a premier equipment manufacturer. Zero excuse when you pay a premium price for missing parts. Made in the USA but clearly can’t even count up to four washers in the packaging. You’ll respond, “ we’re sending you another replacement part” then the next guy that buys experiences the same thing. Fix the problem. Your reputation is diminishing.

Picked up the SML-2C, satin clear w/numbered uprights. Had it for about 7 months before I decided I wanted more stability. I ordered the HR-2 conversion kit with matching 90” ML sticks and the 43” ML stabilizer kit. This RACK is so much more stable and still is a small footprint. Also picked up a ML crown pull up bar attachment (highly recommend this add-on). All the welds are clean, everything is level, and that sweet American made Rogue quality (IYKYK). Customer service is also top notch, I went back and forth with modding my orders along the way. My only complaint is that I was short on some black zinc hardware, but I was able to swap some over from my OG S-2 squat stand 2.0. Love Rogue products. Best of the best.

Great rack, with nice color finishes and general build quality. Deducting a star because of I ordered the optional stabilizer bar for the back, and only discovered afterwards that the stabilizer bar only has holes on the sides and not on the tops. I wanted to add shackles around the bottom for rope and cable work, but might need to take it apart and use one one of the side legs instead, or purchase shackles from somewhere else.

Appears well made but Rogue forgot to include about half the hardware. I can’t install the stabilizer. My Monster Lite rack is pretty shaky without it. Rogue has yet to reply to my inquiry about making this right. In reading reviews about other Rogue products, it appears this is a pretty common problem with Rogue - damaged products and shipping and quality control issues. And yet they keep raising their prices. Shameful and embarrassing.

Another excellent and high quality item by Rogue. My monster lite rig was very shaky after attaching the Matador dip but this product made it perfect. Thank you Rogue.

Stabilized the rack and gave me extra attachment points for belts/bands etc
