Limited time to get the Rogue Artillery MUG/ANVIL that we built for the Rogue Athletes over the holidays.

When we were designing the Rogue Artillery Mug/Anvil, we wanted to make sure that it was over the top. Once the first mug was complete, we realized that we had met our goal. The mug is over the top, actually way over the top. The mug weighs 10KG and the Anvil weighs an additional 10KG. This isn’t just a novelty piece. With the mug’s 22 oz/650 mL capacity and food safe stainless steel construction, it can be used for drinking… If you are strong enough.

The mug starts out as a 21KG/46LB solid round block of stainless steel.  It is drilled in a lathe to create the precision machined cavity, then turned down to the final tapered shape with a contoured rim for easy drinking. Once fully machined, we TIG weld the laser cut and tumbled stainless steel handle supports.  The anvil begins with a 18KG/40LB piece of stainless steel that we turn down into the grip challenging tapered shape with a mating feature for the mug. Next the Rogue International logo is added to the mug and the 10 KG weight marker is added to both pieces with Cerakote in our Zeus Custom Department. The 5” long, 32 mm, stainless steel handles are machined in house with an Ohio knurl and are installed onto the mug using ⅝” stainless steel bolts. 

Including the handle, it takes nearly 41KG/90LBS of stainless steel to yield the 20KG/44LB set. With close to $400 in materials, over an hour and a half of machining time, and another hour of welding, Cerakoting, building and packaging, we decided to sell these as a limited run at our cost so they would stay within reach of as many people as possible.

Wash by hand using lukewarm water and dish detergent. Avoid the use of abrasive pads as this could cause surface scratches. Don’t use a dishwasher to clean your mug and anvil. It is not safe for your mug or your dishwasher.
