Product Description

The Patent Pending Rogue Pack Sled is the most compact, lightweight, and uniquely portable weight sled we’ve ever produced. Measuring just 12.5” x 9” x 1.85” and equipped with a quickly removable weight post and pulling strap, the complete unit is designed to fit securely into any GORUCK Rucker, plate pocket as well as many other rucksacks and backpacks on the market. When carried, the combined weight of the sled and post is equivalent to loading a 10LB ruck plate.

Once you’re ready for sled pulls, the Pack Sled sets up easily by connecting the weight post via a quick-attach locking mechanism (no hardware required). During a workout, the pull strap can be securely attached to the exterior handles or MOLLE of a rucksack / weight vest, and attached to the sled using the included carabiner. The sled straps can also be looped over the shoulders to use the sled without a ruck. To adjust weight, either load bumper plates onto the 10.75” post or utilize our optional set of straps to attach GORUCK Ruck Plates, small sandbags, dumbbells, etc. Additionally, if surface / flooring protection is required, optional plastic skis can be purchased.

Each sled is manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, using 1/4” steel, advanced laser cutting, precision bending and a Textured Black Powdercoat finish. So while portability is part of the design, the Pack Sled is still built, like all Rogue sleds, with durability and traditional pull sled training in mind. This includes lightweight training to help improve sprinting speed and metabolic conditioning, and heavier weight load training to develop a strong and organized posterior chain.

After a workout, the small size of the Pack Sled makes it convenient to transport and store (in the car, locker, etc.), while its nesting design enables larger gyms to stack multiple units for maximum space efficiency.

Note: There is a maximum weight load capacity of 200 lbs on the Rogue Pack Sled.

STANDARD ROGUE PACK SLED KIT INCLUDES:

  • Sled
  • Weight Post
  • 16’ Pull Strap
  • Carabiner

OPTIONAL ADD-ONS:

  • Buckle Strap 3-Pack (for attaching ruck plates, sandbags, etc.)
  • Plastic Ski Kit

Key Features of the Rogue Pack Sled:

Fits In Your Ruck
1

Fits In Your Ruck

We specifically designed the Rogue Pack Sled with the dimensions of the GORUCK Rucker in mind. Paired with a 10.75” long detachable weight post, the sled itself measures just 12.5” x 9” x 1.85”, meaning it will fit securely in a 20L or 25L Rucker 4.0, as well as many other popular rucksacks and training backpacks. This enables athletes to have a quality pull sled that’s available whenever and wherever they need it, and that also doubles as a functional 10LB ruck plate when stowed away.

Made in the USA
2

Made in the USA

Despite its light weight and compact size, the Pack Sled is still built to function and perform every bit like a traditional, quality pull sled, adding a new resistance element to an athlete’s rucking, endurance, or explosiveness training. It’s manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, and features a 0.25” laser-cut steel construction and textured black powdercoat finish similar to several of the other popular training sleds in the Rogue family, including the E Sled, Fat Boy Sled, and Echo Dog Sled.

Versatile Functionality
3

Versatile Functionality

A durable pull strap and carabiner are included standard with each Rogue Pack Sled. This allows the sled to attach quickly and securely to the handles or MOLLE of an athlete’s rucksack or weight vest. The sled can also be used by directly pulling the handle end of the straps or looping them around the shoulders. Need to protect your gym flooring? Select the optional set of plastic skis in the purchase area; these attach securely and help reduce friction between the sled and the underlying surface.

Multiple Loading Options
4

Multiple Loading Options

When the included weight post is attached to the Pack Sled, bumper plates can be loaded to a desired weight as with a traditional pull sled. As an alternative, customers can also choose to have a set of straps added to their order (available to select in the purchase area). These 3/4” coyote brown nylon straps enable the athlete to attach and secure other types of weight, such as GORUCK Ruck Plates, small sandbags, dumbbells, etc.

Go-Anywhere Portability
5

Go-Anywhere Portability

Along with fitting inside a standard Rucker, the Pack Sled is generally easier to transport in any type of situation, from the gym to the car to any training space further afield. The detachable weight post doesn’t require any hardware for installation, as it easily connects to the sled via a built-in locking mechanism. If you’re already loading up a lot of heavy, oversized gear into a cramped space, your weight sled doesn’t have to be one of them.

Stackable Storage
6

Stackable Storage

The Pack Sled’s nesting design means that multiple units can also be stacked in a single compact footprint in-between workouts, making optimal use of a gym’s storage space.

Glides with your stride.
Only had ninety pounds to use, slides easily across tarred street, strap is definitely long enough. Only wish was center post to be higher enabling more weight to be used. Breaks down for easy storage, well constructed. Depends on your training objectives this is one piece of equipment to help with it.

Rogue Pack Sled
The unit is very compact and well built. If you are sledding on concrete, I would recommend adding the plastic skids. It makes it very quiet. With the sled, you also get a nice quality Rogue strap. If you are looking for basic sled pulling forward/backward and looking for something that is very portable, this is a great sled. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

Absolutely Amazing for Sprinting
I use this for sprinting and max acceleration work. I use spud inc speedster belt and this sled along with the plastic slides and it just works phenomenal on the track, AstroTurf, etc. Its tough and will definitely get another once this thing is grinded down to the core.

Super slick micro sled-
We live in the golden age of gear and this sled is proof positive. Small, portable, pretty burly considering its size. I would say the HDPE rail kit is essential as the sled would get shredded fairly quickly. Amazing product for what it is-

Put To Extreme Test / Got About A Year Out Of It
I purchased this Pack Sled in late November of 2023 for the sole purpose of doing extra light cardio work in addition to heavy sled training at the gym. I put in hundreds of miles with this sled pulling varying 25lb/11.3kg, 35lb/15.9kg, or 45lb/20.4kg plates with distances varying 2.85 mile /4.6 km (approx 6,300+ steps) to 4.19 mile /6.7 km (approx 9,300 steps) over a high railroad overpass and around two reservoirs with paved paths. (Concrete, asphalt, and blacktop surfaces) I pull in the cold unless snow/icy conditions. I'm 60! I finally wore this thing out, as the metal split apart, frayed, and the back part curved up. I'm disappointed. I do think a lot of Rogue's products and have also purchased the S-25 Fat Boy and S-35E sleds which I use to pull heavy 100' /60m trips on carpet all four directions F, B, L, R with 5-6 45s. I did like the small footprint, the ease of storage, and convenience of easy transport of this sled. Not sure if I want to invest this much again to only get a year out of it? Quite the dilemma! I'm 60, size 31 waist, in better shape than majority of guys 20s-30s, and coefficient-wise still one the strongest squatters at the gym. I get a lot out of sled work. Thank you, Rogue for your quality products. This sled isn't tough enough for me.

Love the sled
I love this sled. The longer I own it, the more I enjoy pulling it around the neighborhood. That said, I also love having the Rogue name on the straps. Unfortunately, the R and O have fallen off so I now advertise for GUE. Rogue, please consider embroidery if it doesn't weaken the material too much.

Great sled, but only on grass and turf
First, I love the size of this sled. That said, I bought the straps and the plastic ski bottom rails and these are where I ran into issues. The instructions for setting up the straps were not included with the straps, and I could not locate them on the sled page. I contacted customer service to see if they could locate them and have yet to hear back. I finally figured it out on my own. So, now that I was able to add a 30 lbs ruck plate, and with the ski bottoms installed to quiet the drag so as to not disturb the neighbors, I headed off for a 1 mile hike. Upon returning home, I noticed the plastic bottoms had already suffered quite a bit of wear. At this rate, I will be lucky to get 5 miles before needing to replace them, or having to fabricate some other solution such as attaching a section of an old tire to the sled bottom. Because of these issues, I downgraded what would have been a 5 star to a 3.
